Yeah, She's Got Mad Skills...

I've had the pleasure of meeting an insane amount of talented artists and crafters
via the wonderful world of Etsy (and two of its fabulous street teams Etsy Steam Team and Etsy's Dark Side). It is through these networks that I came to know
the work of Victoria Shaffer.
A true renaissance woman she creates jewelry, parasols and hats (all of which are available in her
shop, Designs By Victoria...and she can now add published poet
to the list!
"Counting Heartbeats"
is lovingly handmade and handbound book published by
Seraphemera Books.
Want to check out a sample of
her work before you
decide to make a purchase?
Sure you do...
allow me to suggest her poem
"Dreaming."
And if that isn't enough to sate your curiosity
then check out
"Butterfly Wings" and
"Where The Head & Heart Meet."
Renaissance woman indeed.

Congratulations, Victoria.
I wish you success in your new venture!

Twice as Nice

I have two photos ("Gallifrey" and "Moving Through Silence Without Motion")
featured in the March/April
issue of All Things Girl.

Stop by, if you feel so inclined, and take a peek.

On an unrelated note:
I have the television on.
I'm watching the Burn Notice marathon on USA.
I can't help it...I love Bruce Campbell...
but I digress...
A commercial comes on and what do I hear?
Stereo Total playing on a Dell
commercial.
I'm not really sure how I feel about that.
Hm.

Oodles and Oodles

I've just listed a TON of new pieces in my store.
From dark and brooding to light and sweet...
stop in and take a peek!

Un-freaking-believable

I can't believe this.
My evil, mutant, antibiotic resistant
strain of step is back for a third time in
less than a month.
So, yet again, project 365 will have to be put on
the back burner.
Take care & I'll check in with you all soon.
